The V-shaped elements are prefabricated elements, which are used for extensive roofs. They have a V-shaped cross section with a usual width of 120 or 125 cm and different heights between 35 and 55 cm. The length depends on the heights of the element and the life load. They are used most in hot climate; the life load is 150 kg/m² - without any snow load.
Higher life loads are possible, the sections have to be re-designed.
Big production halls, supermarkets, car parks, gymnasiums and warehouses are often roofed by these V-shaped elements. Moreover roofs of office buildings are be made of the units with the corresponding accessory parts.
